What We Offer
At Renew Education, we provide a high-impact alternative provision for young people aged 11–16 who need a fresh approach to learning.
Our programme blends academic support, vocational training, therapeutic mentoring, and enrichment experiences, delivered across a range of trusted local venues in Bridgwater. Every young person has a personalised timetable designed around their needs, interests, and long-term goals.
Academic Support
We help pupils re-engage with learning through:
1:1 and small group academic sessions
Digital maths courses leading to qualifications
Access to functional skills and GCSE exams
Calm, low-stimulation environments
Learning is paced to each child’s readiness and confidence.
Vocational Pathways
We believe in real-world learning with purpose. Our vocational offer includes:
Animal care and equine studies at Bridgwater College (Cannington)
Barbering, beauty, hairdressing, and hospitality taster sessions
Mechanics and bike repair with “On Your Bike”

These sessions help pupils build confidence, discover interests, and prepare for the future.
Therapeutic Mentoring
Our staff are trained in trauma-informed practice and emotional coaching. We support young people through:
1:1 mentoring focused on emotional regulation
Sensory circuits and calming routines
“Now and Next” boards for visual structure
Consistent relationships and safe spaces
We meet pupils where they are, and build trust from day one.
